Average Remodeling Project Costs

People always ask…can you give us a ballpark estimate? We can, but we always prefer skipping the ballpark and presenting our client with an accurate and concise bid.

As a homeowner embarking on a remodeling journey, your first step is to establish whether a project is financially feasible, given your budget. You probably have a number in mind that you are comfortable spending, based on savings and potential borrowing. With a budget number in mind, you can start to assess the cost range of the project you have in mind. Is it in the right ballpark, or are there modifications you can make to bring it into the ballpark?

We wanted to provide you with some very basic information on typical job costs for kitchens, bathrooms and whole-home remodels. The exercise in determining a budget can be a bit tricky, but in an effort to be respectful of your time, it is an important one.

Providing accurate bids for these types of projects often takes at least 3 meetings and several phone calls and/or e-mails. Please know that there are occasionally circumstances that will lower the cost of the project, (i.e. re-using existing appliances/fixtures, no lighting changes, etc.).
